In order to create a blend that combines the best of the Davidoff Black Band Collection lines whose origins are nature's elements, Davidoff Master Blenders went on a flavour expedition and located a place where fire, earth and water meet.

The Gran Toro unites the sweet and spicy Brazilian tobacco, the fiery, bittersweet Nicaraguan tobacco and the complexity of the tobacco from Yamasá in the Dominican Republic. Inviting aficionados to discover an untouched, uncharted new region of the palate.
The bigger ring gauge allows for a greater amount of the landmark tobaccos in the filler, thus reducing the influence of the Ecuadorian wrapper on the taste and resulting in a balanced blend with notes of leather, coffee and cedarwood. Delivers complex, intense and unique flavours.

Right from the start, the complexity and depth of flavours are present. The mingling of Nicaraguan, Dominican and Brazilian tobaccos in the filler and binder is responsible for intense notes of leather combined with earth and pepper.

The initial spicier stimulation slowly fades and the impressive Gran Toro evolves towards intense notes of coffee, nuts and wood. An interesting development of flavours, where the complexity and the full body are maintained beautifully.

The last third brings out a new layer of aromas completing this diverse taste experience. Cedarwood dominates but also dark chocolate and leather are present. The complexity of this cigar is remarkably effortless.
THE PACKAGING
The 12 Gran Toro cigars come in a box highlighted with a blended trio logo. Colour cues of the Nicaragua, Yamasá and Escurio lines and leaf-shaped symbols nod to the origins of the tobaccos in the blend, symbolising the discovery of a new harmony of taste.
